Eating Disorder Treatment
Introduction
Eating disorders are serious, complex mental health conditions that require a comprehensive treatment approach. Effective treatment plans are often multidisciplinary, involving medical, nutritional, and psychological components. Below is an outline of the typical treatment process for eating disorders from the therapy perspective. I work to provide a safe, supportive environment for the individual and collaborate with psychiatrists, medical doctors and dieticians to promote a comprehensive plan of recovery, as well as involving support from the family.
